Cancellation and refunds

Learn how to request cancellation, exercise the statutory cooling-off right, and track a refund.

Cancellation can be requested through the Client Area or by ticket. Depending on the service and selected option, it may take effect immediately or at the end of the current cycle.

Statutory cooling-off right

When the customer qualifies as a consumer and purchases away from a commercial establishment, a statutory 7-calendar-day cooling-off right may apply, counted from purchase or the start of supply according to applicable law.

Request it through a ticket or official channel and identify the account and service. When applicable, the service is terminated, resources are disabled, related benefits are revoked, and the refund follows a method supported by the payment gateway.

Refunds after the statutory period

After the cooling-off period, started service periods are not automatically refundable, except in cases such as:

• an express promise in the offer;
• definitive failure to deliver attributable to Verone Cloud;
• an incorrect charge;
• a legal requirement;
• a commercial decision by Verone Cloud.

Renewals that have already started follow the same rule. Licenses, domains, IPs, certificates, and other third-party items may be non-refundable when the external provider does not allow cancellation.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are preferably returned through the original payment method or, with your agreement, as account credit. Final timing also depends on the gateway, bank, card network, or issuer.

Promotional or courtesy credits cannot be converted to cash.

Checklist before confirming

1. Download an independent backup and test important files.
2. Confirm whether cancellation is immediate or takes effect at the end of the cycle.
3. Check overdue invoices, add-ons, and third-party services.
4. Keep the ticket number and cancellation confirmation.
5. Remove DNS records, integrations, and credentials that rely on the terminated service.
