Privacy and personal data

Understand the data processed, Verone Cloud's roles, and how to exercise LGPD rights.

The Privacy Policy explains how Verone Cloud processes personal data for registration, purchases, payments, support, security, and service operations. The authoritative legal document is in Portuguese.

Controller and processor

  • Controller: Verone Cloud generally determines the processing of account, billing, authentication, antifraud, support, communications, and platform security data.
  • Infrastructure processor: when you host third-party personal data and decide its purpose and essential means, you are generally the controller and Verone Cloud may process that data within contractual instructions and technical limitations.

If your application, website, or server collects user data, you remain responsible for the legal basis, privacy notices, data-subject requests, access controls, and suitable security measures.

Data that may be processed

Depending on the interaction, this may include:

  • registration, identity, and contact data;
  • plan, invoice, transaction, and tax data;
  • IP addresses, sessions, devices, security events, and resource use;
  • tickets, messages, and attachments sent to support;
  • hostnames, domains, location, and infrastructure metrics;
  • reports, logs, and data needed to assess fraud or abuse;
  • required cookies and, when applicable, configured or consented non-essential cookies.

Data may be shared as necessary with payment, antifraud, datacenter, network, support, licensing, accounting, and public-authority providers where a valid basis exists. Verone Cloud states that it does not sell personal data as contact lists.

Retention and security

Data is retained as needed for the contract, legal obligations, fraud prevention, disputes, security, and the exercise of rights. It may then be deleted, anonymized, or restricted where a legal basis requires retention.

Data inside a contracted service may be deleted after cancellation, nonpayment, or termination. Keep independent backups.

Verone Cloud applies measures proportionate to risk, but no environment is completely invulnerable. Protect your instances, applications, passwords, keys, users, and backups.

Your rights

Where applicable, you may request confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, restriction, deletion, portability, sharing information, consent withdrawal, objection, and review of automated decisions.

Submit the request to General Support through the Client Area. Identity verification may be required. Legal obligations, security, third-party rights, and mandatory retention may limit some requests.

Incidents and evidence

If you identify an incident in your instance, notify support immediately, especially when shared infrastructure may be affected. Remove passwords, tokens, private keys, and unnecessary personal data from screenshots or logs before sending them.
