Quick installs and add-ons
How to use templates, modpacks, plugins, mods, and other Game Panel extras.
The Add-ons section provides tools that simplify server installation and configuration. Available items may vary by server software, Minecraft version, and plan.
Available resources

Before installing
- Confirm the current Minecraft version and server software.
- Create a manual backup.
- Stop the server.
- Check the requirements and dependencies of the selected item.
Plugins and mods are not interchangeable. Use plugins only with Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, or compatible derivatives; use mods only with the loader required by the project.
Minecraft Templates
Templates prepare an initial structure with common files and settings. They are useful for new servers but may replace existing files. Read the summary before confirming and prefer applying them to an empty installation.
Modpacks
When choosing a modpack:
- select a version compatible with player clients;
- confirm whether it requires Forge, Fabric, or another available loader;
- reserve enough memory and disk space;
- wait for installation to finish before starting the server.
Some modpacks require every player to install the same package on their computer.
Plugins and mods
Use panel search to find the project and check its name, author, version, and dependencies. Install one item at a time and test startup before continuing. If the server no longer starts, check the console and remove or update the most recently installed item.
Minecraft Settings
The guided editor makes common changes easier, but values are still written to server files. Stop the server before important changes and avoid editing the same value in the file manager at the same time.
Subdomains
A subdomain provides a friendly address instead of a hard-to-remember IP. Changes may take some time to propagate. Keep the original IP and port as an alternate way to connect.
Server Splitter
When available, the splitter creates more than one instance using portions of the resources in your plan. Plan how much RAM, CPU, disk, databases, and ports each instance needs. Splitting does not increase the plan's total resources.
