Acceptable use and reports

Understand prohibited uses, customer responsibilities, and how to submit an abuse report.

Infrastructure must be used lawfully, securely, and within the plan's limits. The customer is also responsible for people authorized to use the account and for content hosted on their services.

Prohibited uses

The Terms of Use prohibit, among other activities:

• malware, ransomware, botnets, and command-and-control infrastructure;
• phishing, credential theft, fraud, and impersonation;
• DDoS, brute force, intrusion, interception, or exploitation without authorization;
• spam, open SMTP relays, and sender spoofing;
• illegal content or intellectual-property violations;
• exploitation or abuse of children and adolescents;
• evading limits, filters, suspensions, or verification;
• use that harms the network, other customers, or IP reputation.

Security testing is only allowed on your own assets or with verifiable authorization. Proof-of-Work mining, open proxies, open relays, Tor exits, and public resale of anonymous access have specific restrictions and must not be operated without authorization compatible with the plan.

If you receive a notice

1. Stop the reported activity when there is an active risk.
2. Preserve logs and evidence; do not destroy related files.
3. Reply through the official channel within the stated period.
4. Explain the cause, impact, and corrective measures.
5. Rotate credentials and fix the source of compromise when required.

Depending on severity, Verone Cloud may issue a warning, block a port, restrict the network, isolate resources, suspend, or cancel a service. Emergency containment may occur without prior notice.

How to submit a report

Use the official support or abuse channel identified by Verone Cloud and provide, when possible:

• the relevant IP address or domain;
• date, time, and timezone;
• a concise description;
• logs, headers, or other evidence;
• contact details for follow-up.

Do not publish personal data, credentials, or illegal content in open channels. Send only what is needed for analysis.
